Order Fulfillment / Deployment Services

← Return to Mobility Services

Compsee Solutions Group is committed to delivering a full range of order fulfillment solutions in an easy-to-implement, cost effective, friendly manner.

We take the time to understand the things that are important to each customer and design a fulfillment procedure to accommodate these needs, and in doing so, we create a strategic partnership with each user that provides "impeccable service", creating the feeling that we are an extension of their business operation.

The Project Guide developed in the Pre-Sales stage provides a detailed definition of the fulfillment services needs of the user.

Staging:  Terminal Image Loading

The Bill of Materials established during the Pre-Sales Stage defines the discrete software products that need to be established, tested and then loaded into each terminal, prior to shipment.

Compsees configuration team is available to make sure that all equipment is sent to the user or their distribution centers pre-configured and ready to deploy. This mandates that all software and database information be loaded and tested, prior to sending the terminal to any field personnel.

Since there can be a number of variables that make up the complete software/firmware configuration for the system, logically organizing all the variables will help ensure the inclusion of all the necessary information to properly configure the system.

If the terminal needs to be operational by the user right out of the box, the software will not only need to be installed via Image Loading, but also registered.  Software registration needs to be defined in the development of the Bill of Materials, during the Pre-Sales Stage.

If not to a single user and address, a database needs to be provided with the information required to register the software.  Registering software essentially gives the Software Company a record of their customers. This information is used by companies to provide their customers with valuable update information, general product release information, and even free software in many instances.  It also provides a backup record in case the licensing information is lost.

Compsee can provide a comprehensive wireless activation plan. Using information direct from one or more specific carriers, we will compile and administer the user data, including activation plans. Our experienced staff will map the plan management in an efficient, timely and cost-effective manner.

Prior to the end user receiving the unit, Compsee Services can

  • Merge spreadsheet list from the user of ship to names/individuals and their existing cell phone numbers with the existing list of asset information.

  • Process SIM card activation by logging to on-line order entry system and entering the database information and receiving confirmation from cellular service.

  • For immediate usage, schedule a date to assist in making either phone calls or web portal transactions for users on the day of delivery or training to activate the new SIM card and de-activate old phone number.

  • Update the Asset Tracking database with all information regarding the unit and its ownership.

Staging:  Equipment Testing

For an out-of-the-box solution, Compsee can provide a comprehensive plan to fully test hardware and software functionality, prior to shipping terminals to the end user.

The items to be tested and the procedure to follow will need to be defined in the development of the Bill of Materials.   Included with this should be the time estimate for each portion of the procedure.  Testing procedures defined may include:

Hardware burn-in

Software Testing  - Test defined from the Software Vendor

Staging:  Battery Charging

Compsee can provide for the charging of the terminal batteries, prior to shipping terminals to the end user.  This would enable the user to be able to take the unit out of the box and immediately begin using it.

Kitting:  Custom Packaging and Labeling

←Top

As part of our commitment to deliver "what you need when and where you need it", Compsee offers job-specific site kitting and packaging. This "site-in-a-box" service enables the user to receive all of the equipment, accessories, materials and documentation required for the project.

This service involves the sorting and packaging of the products exactly as the end user (or groups of users) needs them so you can get to work right out of the box.  Included are the required label descriptions and data fields for the products, parts and package.

The Kit, its packaging and labeling are defined in the Bill of Materials.
