Managing your Assets is an ongoing process of tracking and auditing the location, ownership, configuration details and status of all your critical assets. 

Asset Manager enables the accurate and efficient tracking of those assets by replacing your manual tracking systems with a portable barcode-based solution.  Key asset information such as location, owner and status are easily entered or updated.  Extensive report generation enables you to easily view and manage all your assets. 

Bar Code Technology

Integrated with mobile handheld terminals, the terminal is loaded with a database of all the known assets for a location (building, area, department, etc.). Then items for the location are tracked by scanning or keying in the bar code identification number.  The terminal will display any items that are missing from the location. This method allows for an extensive search for the missing items prior to leaving the location, resulting in saving of both time and cost.  New items can be hand keyed in and added to the inventory for the location. Asset information such as asset number, description, serial number, and condition can be scanned or keyed in.  A portable printer can also be utilized via a Bluetooth interface to generate the items bar code label at the location.

The program allows the user to configure aspects of program that are used on the mobile terminal.  The user can:

The user can display data in list format and can configure the following elements on each screen:

Set the display colors

Display columns with or without vertical and/or horizontal lines

Set the number of fixed columns that will not move as the user pans left or right in the list

Items within a range specified by the user based on field in the database.

�        The program downloads a list of all assets for an applicable area, such as a room or building.

�        The handheld terminal tracks items as they are scanned or hand keyed.

�        The terminal will display all items that are missed from any specific location.

�        The user can scan or hand key new items that are automatically added to the inventory.  The user can also input the asset number, description, serial number and condition code for each asset.
