This value priced cordless scanner can work through its own base station or in a system where it is directly linked to other Bluetooth-enabled devices.

Together, high-speed digital hardware and Datalogic Scanning�s advanced decoding algorithms produce read rates up to 500 scans per second, making the PowerScan 7000BT readers the fastest industrial scanners available.

Operator mobility is guaranteed by Bluetooth Wireless Technology which can be implemented through the base station or by connecting the scanner directly to any commercial or embedded Bluetooth� compliant device.

The base station can be connected to the host through a multi-interface that includes RS-232, Keyboard Wedge, Wand Emulation, USB and IBM46xx.
