ITScriptNet™ Batch and
Batch Plus software allows users to quickly and easily create
batch data collection applications for MAT batch portable data
terminals.
The ITScriptNet program designer features an intuitive visual
interface that provides users with a graphical view of how the program
will function as it is being constructed, greatly simplifying the
development process.
ITScriptNet enables developers to harness the multi-functional data
capture capabilities of MAT terminals, including keypad and touch
panel input, reading bar codes, signature capture, and picture taking.
With its power, flexibility,
and ease of use, ITScriptNet Batch may be used to create a wide range
of data collection solutions for inventory control, asset management,
warehousing, retail, meter reading, document tracking, and production
tracking. |

Products
- Batch
- batch data collection programs. The terminals can validate user
input using validation rules or lookup files. The collected data
can be downloaded into Text Files, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft
Access, or any ODBC-complaint source.
- Batch Plus
- extends the capabilities of data collection by adding advanced
features such as
-
multiple input elements per prompt
-
IrDA printing
-
automatic validation file
generation from ODBC data sources
-
script debugger
-

Licenses
- Developer
License - Licensed
by PC.
A Developer License is used to
develop an unlimited number of data collection programs. It includes
the communication utilities used to load programs onto the terminal
and retrieve data from the terminal. There is no limit to the number
of terminals that can communicate with a licensed PC.
-
Runtime License
- Licensed by PC.
Set of communication utilities used
to load programs onto the terminal and retrieve data from the
terminal. There is no limit to the number of terminals that can
communicate with a licensed PC.
Client software is required to be
loaded, however.
Example: A customer wants to write their own programs.
They are using 10
terminals and have 3 areas in their warehouse that will need to host data
download stations (PC’s).
The customer would need:
1 Developer Program to write the programs
2 or 3 Runtime Programs
They would only need 2
Runtimes Programs if they can use the Developer Program at one of the
download stations. Otherwise,
3 Runtimes would be needed.
DEMO Program Limitations:
In demo mode a
terminal is limited to collecting and downloading 5 records.
Upon downloading and
deleting the 5 records from the terminal, a new set of 5 records can
be collected and downloaded.
To remove the demo
limitation a program must be saved using a licensed Developer Program
and then the program must be loaded onto the terminal using the
licensed Developer Program or Runtime Program.
