A High Speed 32 bit RISC is utilized in the CL412 to give maximum performance. The CL412 produces true 6" per second throughput, even with changes in text or graphics between labels. Even UCC/EAN 128 Serialized Shipping Container Labels. Automatic incrementing serial numbers and check digits are produced without pausing between labels.

16 of the most popular bar code symbologies including the new 2-D codes, 12 proportional and mono-spaced text fonts and 10 scalable Vector fonts are built into the printer for great looking labels with minimal programming. PLUS TrueType® fonts can be downloaded to the CL412 to be used as internal fonts.

The interface in the CL412 is based on a new SATO innovation: Plug-in Interface Modules. Users select the interface type needed. Other printers in this price range typically offer only one choice; with the CL412 you get multiple choices.
