SATO's revolutionary new M-5900 Direct Thermal Printer yields
high quality labels and tags while dramatically reducing overall
printing costs. The low operating cost and long list of features
makes the M-5900 the ideal solution for many cost sensitive industrial
applications such as shipping and tracking.
The M-5900 incorporates a print head designed for long life direct
thermal printing. Its warranty and expected life are many times
the typical current industry standards. With a warranty of one year
or 2 million inches and an expected life of up to 4 million inches,
print head replacement cost savings alone will more than pay for
the printer when compared to other available printers.
Improved thermal papers with UV resistance up to 3 times the industry
standards can be used in the M-5900 for long lasting labels.
The M-5900's low price combined with its high quality and industrial
construction make a powerhouse printer affordable. It prints labels
up to 5" wide with a print area of 4.4" wide by 13"
long at 203 DPI and speeds up to 4.7" per second. The printer
includes an array of fonts and bar codes for maximum design flexibility
and combines ease of use with construction to SATO standards for
heavy-duty industrial use.
