Introducing the Apex II with the tethered 900 mHz radio Cable Eliminator Transceiver. The Cable Eliminator Transceiver speeds up transactions of all types and makes data instantly accessible to the Host. Weighing in at less than two (2) ounces the matchbox size Cable Eliminator Transceiver is a cost effective means of transferring data to and/or from the Apex II RS232 port via the 900 mHz band to any other equally equipped RS-232 device. Each transceiver is unit addressable, so up to 254 remotes can communicate with a single host. The Cable Eliminator Transceiver is a parasitically powered device that requires only a few milliwatts of power from the DTR signal on any RS-232 port. (no batteries required in the transceiver)

AddressNet is an easy to use a Windows 95/98 compatible utility with a GUI interface that allows the user to modify data format, baud rate, handshaking protocol and the transmit and receive address of each transceiver. The user simply points and clicks to configure the transceiver's baud rate, data format, handshaking and addressing.
