      SUBJECT: ApexWare Utilities

      ApexWare Utilities - Making the Apex II even easier to use

      ApexWare is a collection of utilities that provide the user the ability to communicate with the Apex II for the purpose of manipulating files or running applications.

      The following utilities are provided with the ApexWare Utility Diskette:

      • LINK MASTER FOR WINDOWS
          �WINLINK.EXE� is a utility program that provides the user an easy and convenient way to communicate with the Apex II. LINK MASTER FOR WINDOWS provides the Apex II user a wide range of helpful, easy-to-use utilities in a familiar Windows-based environment.

          Some of the capabilities of LINK MASTER FOR WINDOWS include:

          • Upload and Download data files to and from the PC to the Compsee Apex II
          • Append or Overwrite the data on the PC, Delete data in the Apex II
          • Download, Save and Run a program file from the PC to the Apex II
          • Download an Operating System file from the PC to the Apex II.
          • Send the Run command to the Apex II to begin running the program.
          • Send the Immediate Mode command to the Apex II to stop the execution of the current program
          • Set the Data and Time in the Apex II.

          With LINK MASTER FOR WINDOWS the user can also issue command line parameters. The command line can be issued from the Windows �Run Box�. A text file �CMDLINE.TXT� details the command line parameter usage and syntax and is included with ApexWare.

      • LINK MASTER
          �LINKMSTR.EXE� provides a DOS executable with the same functional capabilities as �WINLINK.EXE�, minus the command line parameters capability.

      • APEXPROG
          �APEXPROG.EXE� is a command line utility program used to Load and Delete program files on the Apex II. Other options include Setting date and time, saving the program in memory, Running the program, Adding line numbers to the program and Stripping program comments.

      • APEXFILE
          �APEXFILE.EXE� is a command line utility program used to load data files to the Apex II.

      • APEXDATA
          �APEXDATA.EXE�is a command line utility program used to Retrieve, Append Overwrite or Delete data files from the Apex II. �APEXDATA.EXE � can also Run the program in memory as well as set the Apex II in the immediate mode.

      • ARECOVER
          �ARECOVER.EXE� is a command line utility program used to recover or rebuild lost files
