SUBJECT: Apex II - Extended Temperature Range

Just in time to take advantage of the approaching Winter, Compsee announces the release of the Extended Temperature Range Option for the Apex II Portable Data Collector.

Apex II�s purchased with the new Extended Temperature Range Option will have an operating temperature range of -20(C to + 50(C (-4(F to + 122(F). This compares to the standard Apex II temperature range of 0(C to + 50(C (+32(F to + 122(F).

This beneficial option opens up new data collection applications such as cold storage inventory, food processing, automobile rental tracking, sporting event data collection and other data collection applications that must contend with cold temperatures.

Apex II�s with this new option will be available for shipment no later than January 23, 1998. List price for this option is $100.

The table below gives Part Number and list pricing for the commonly ordered Apex II' s with this option. Note that all other Apex II' s (i.e., Modem, Long Range, High Visibility), are available with the Extended Temperature Option.
