      SUBJECT: Apex II� Option - High Visibility SE-1200 Scan Engine

      We take great pleasure in announcing the New SE-1200-HV High Visibility Laser Scan Engine Option for the Apex II. When equipped with this new scan engine, these new and improved features will allow the Apex II to operate better outdoors and scan more aggressively through glass and plastic.

      FEATURES and BENEFITS

      • Brighter Laser Diode - Using a lower wave length (650 NM ) makes the scan beam easier to see in outdoor applications. This results in quicker and more accurate scanning.
      • Aiming Mode - By providing an aiming beam the operator will find it much easier to orient the scanner's beam to the label. This will greatly reduce the need to "hunt" for the label with the scanner's beam.
      • Specially Tuned Digitizer - This feature compensates for additional reflected noise introduced by sunlight and reflective elements like glass and plastic. Reading through windshields and I.D. badge holders just got much easier and faster.
      • The High Visibility option offers 10,000 foot candles of sunlight immunity - Vs. 8,000 foot candles with the standard SE-1200 laser.
