Using only a single wand connected to the serial port of your computer, coupled with a software driver, the BarLink eliminates the need for an external decoding box and its cabling. While the keyboard remains fully active, any scanned data appears to both the computer and the operator as if it came directly from the keyboard.
The BarLink autodiscriminates between all popular bar code symbologies, including Code 3 of 9, UPC/EAN, Interleaved 2 of 5, Codabar and others.
BarLink can be used with any DOS or Windows 3.1 based programs.
If necessary, the set-up menu allows the user to customize the output from the BarLink unit to eliminate the manual entry of data.
The BarLink designed to work with today's laptop and notebook PC's is a simple, easy to install, economical solution to adding bar code input to your applications
software.
