Order & Configuration Guide

This document contains reference material for ordering and configuring your VS1200 or VS1000 scanner. Each scanner should be ordered using the following model number scheme:

Legend: XX II O - C P Y M CF IC where:

XX = Class Number

II = Interface

O = Options

C = Customer

P = Power Cord

Y = Country Unique

M = Optional Mount

CF = Configuration File

IC = Interface Cable

Please refer to the Part Numbering System for currently available configurations.

Explanation Of Options

Class Number (XX)

22 = VS1200 Sweep

32 = VS1200 Presentation

23 = VS1000 Presentation

33 = VS1000 Sweep

39 = VS1201 Sweep

Interfaces (II)

POS host system interface type.

Options (O)

STD - Standard (no special options)

TO - Tin oxide glass

(additional cost option for additional scratch resistance in heavy duty applications like supermarkets)

EAS - (built in EAS antenna option)

Customer (C)

SP DK GRY - PSC standard* (with standard dark gray color)

7Ó Depth of Field VS1000 Enhanced (Class 23 ONLY)

*Note: To request special colors or markings for a specific customer, contact your product manager for minimum order quantity guidelines.

Power Cord (P)

US STD - U.S. Standard, Japan, Brazil

US T&L - U.S. Twist and Lock

EUROPE - European Standard

UK - United Kingdom and Hong Kong

AUST - Australia

ITALY/CHILE - Italy/Chile

Note: The same power adapter (brick) is used for all countries - only the power cord is different.

Optional Mount available at an ADDITIONAL COST
(provides for mounting the scanner on a vertical surface, providing the capability of tilting the scanner forward 60�. The Standard mount is included with this option.)

Programmable features such as double read time-out, RS232 baud rate. For most applications the standard configuration is applicable.

Cable(s) (IC)

POS host interface cable length is 12 feet.

Assure that the cable matches the interface and configuration you have selected.
