PICS (Profitable Inventory Control Systems) was incorporated in January 1985. The company's primary purpose is to produce and market software packages for inventory control. These systems are designed to track raw materials, finished goods, and assets using barcode technology. PICS markets three software packages and can supply all of the hardware, media, installation, and training needed to operate these systems successfully.
As a software developer, supplier and systems integrator of automatic identification and data collection (AIDC) technologies. PICS provides complete, full service solutions to companies engaged in manufacturing, warehousing, or the distribution of raw materials and finished goods.
PICS combines its experience as a software developer, supplier and integrator of AIDC products with a highly trained and experienced sales and systems group to customize solutions to individual customer needs.
Look to PICS to provide:

For inventory control, PICS offers VICS2000 (Visual Inventory Control System 2000) software.
VICS2000 is a powerful order processing, inventory control, reporting, and management software package. VICS2000 seamlessly integrates barcodes to inventory control. It works with both RF and batch portable scanners. The VICS2000 base package gives you the ability to receive, issue, adjust, and transfer inventory. VICS2000 also offers other modules to be able to create purchase orders, sales orders, pick tickets, pack verify, and invoice. All of these transactions can be performed using a PC, a batch portable, or a radio frequency portable.
