Software - Wavelink Studio
|
The WaveLink Studio is a suite of software components which
allow a developer to easily create and run wireless applications
directly from a Windows 95 or Windows NT host. WaveLink
built applications run in real-time with Spectrum24®
TCP/IP network controller.
The Studio is an object oriented environment allowing Visual
Basic developers to create wireless applications with a
near zero learning curve. The Studio simplifies the development
task by offering over 150 different "wireless"
objects and methods for implementation within applications.
These objects allow the developer to create efficient and
powerful client applications packages and substantially
reduce the development lead-time.

Software - Wavelink SNC24 Network Administrator
|
WaveLink® SNC24 provides a cost-effective tool to remotely

Software - Spectrum 24 Telnet Client Family
The Spectrum24 Telnet clients provides Symbol's series 3000
and 6000 wireless terminals with industry standard Telnet protocol access
to a variety of host systems. Telnet is the Internet protocol
for remote terminal connections and when combined with TCP/IP,
offers seamless access to IBM, DEC, HP, UNIX and PC hosts and
a variety of enterprise host gateways (the destination TCP/IP
host must support a Telnet Server or Telnet Daemon to complete
the connection).
To make connection to the host, the Telnet application is simply
loaded into the Spectrum24 wireless terminal, configured as a TCP/IP
device along with the TCP/IP information of the host system. The
Telnet clients support Wide Area Network (WAN) access and can
connect to hosts via bridges and routers over any LAN configuration
supporting TCP/IP transport.
Telnet clients offer full screen terminal emulation (24 lines
by 80 columns). They support a screen "view mode" which
allows the user to move an 8 line by 20 column Symbol terminal
"window" around the full screen emulation.
The Symbol Telnet clients are available in four configurations:
TNVT, TNHP, TN3270 and TN5250.
