A Mobile Timeclock for Construction and other Field Operations
Now you can have a mobile biometric timeclock using the Windows based equipment that you may already have in the field. With the addition of a USB-connected fingerprint reader, your supervisors can quickly and efficiently clock in and out employees using biometric verification. Employees do not need to swipe a card or enter an ID - just place their finger on the reader. The system will identify the employee, display his or her information on the screen, and present the IN and OUT buttons.
All transactions will be transmitted to the PowerTrack server where they can be reviewed and approved, along with any other transactions from mobile or web clients. In addition, the supervisor can review all of the transactions originating locally by simply clicking a menu tab within the application. Perfect for construction and other work environments with mobile crews.
Flexible Options
The PowerTrack Biometric application has many options that can provide additional advantages for your operation:
Employee Pictures
This option displays a picture of the employee after fingerprint matching. This will provide another visible cue to the supervisor that employees are being identified correctly.
Job Definition and Change
At start up, the supervisor can enter a specific job and phase for the clock in entries. In addition, the application can be set up with a job change button, which will allow the employee to start another job/phase during their shift.
Clock Out Questions
The system can optionally present up to three questions to the user at the time of clock out (for example, verifying that the employee was not injured today). The answers to these questions can be viewed in the application’s transaction review.
Multi-lingual
The employee instructions can be shown in two languages. In addition, the optional clock out questions can be presented in either of two languages based upon the employee identification.
Submitted Records
Clock ins, clock outs, job changes and question answers will be submitted as records to the PowerTrack server. This information can be reviewed, edited and approved within PowerTrack’s web based approval system, and then exported to the customer’s payroll system. The data is also available for reports using PowerTrack’s integrated reporting using Crystal Reports.
